Pirelli Building Group was engaged by a partner Construction and Project Management company to undertake a full cladding replacement on a 14-apartment residential complex in Brunswick.
The project involved the removal of the aged and deteriorated rendered blue board façade, which was replaced with Matrix cladding installed on batten framing to achieve a durable and modern finish. In conjunction with the façade upgrade, balcony waterproofing works were completed using the Ardex 1000 membrane system, ensuring long-term protection and compliance.
As residents remained in their homes throughout construction, the project required careful planning and coordination to manage accessibility and minimise disruption.
Through effective communication and detailed staging, Pirelli Building Group successfully delivered the cladding upgrade, balcony waterproofing, and fire safety compliance works—all while maintaining tenant comfort and safety.
