Burst Pipe Structural Repair – Residential Property, Launceston | TAS
A burst pipe beneath the granny flat and garage of this property caused significant structural movement, necessitating complex engineering and extensive remedial works.
Pirelli Building Group undertook underpinning of approximately one-third of the home, involving major excavation — part of which was completed from within the interior. Extensive propping and bracing of walls and roof sections were required to ensure stability throughout the process.
Following the structural works, waterproofing, the concrete slab, and the driveway were replaced. To restore the home to a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing condition, comprehensive internal refurbishments were completed, including plastering, painting, flooring, and joinery installation.
